After a 1941 labor dispute, Disney hated unions. From that point on, he (maybe) began spying on Hollywood for the FBI. In 1947, he testified before the House Un-American Activities Committee, denouncing some of his former animators as communists.
In 50s, Disney produced educational films on the space program in collaboration with NASA/Nazi rocket designer Wernher von Braun.
