What Aleister Crowley considered this to be a name for a god-like entity, far beyond summoning, and considered Hubbard and Parsons idiots for even attempting to do so (more specifically, he referred to “the idiocy of these louts”).
Some researchers such as Jacques Vallee suggest that such entities have already been in contact throughout human history.
